You'll be guided by a qualified dressmaker/educator as you learn the basics of using a sewing machine. Don't worry if you're new to sewing, as this workshop is designed for beginners, offering step-by-step guidance to help you feel confident and successful. You'll have a choice to make either a tote bag, cushion cover, or patchwork pencil case, and take your creation home at the end of the class.

What you will do:

-thread the sewing machine

-wind the bobbin

-simple pattern making

-cut fabric

-straight stitch sewing

-finishing seams

-take home your completed sewing project

Sewing Class for Kids (8 + years)

$90 for 2 hour session

In this sewing class designed especially for kids (8 - 12 years), your child will be introduced to the basics of sewing using a sewing machine. Children learn threading, bobbin winding, cutting fabrics, straight stitching and finishing seams.

The sewing projects are kept simple so that each child can feel a sense of achievement plus they get to take their project home. Children can choose to make a tote bag, a cushion cover or a patchwork pencil case.

Materials your child will be working with:

- Sewing machine

- Thread

- Fabric

- Scissors

- Pins

The children are guided through each step of the sewing process by an experienced & qualified dressmaker/educator in a supportive environment.

Private Sewing Class: Make a group booking and save (Mon - Sun)

Individual session: $120 per hour ( min 2 hrs)

Group session: 2 + guests $90 each (min 2 hrs)

Whether you're a beginner or aiming to improve your sewing skills, this private class can be designed specifically for your interests and skill level. Simply send us a request with your preferred time and some information about what you want to learn so we can tailor the class to suit.

Crochet Birthday Party: Kids (7 +) and Adults

All materials are provided and each participant receives a crochet gift. Don't worry if any of your guests find that crochet is not their thing - we have backup activities!

Kids Birthday Party: (7+ Years)

Fun with Crochet Birthday Party is a great way for children to learn a new craft while celebrating their birthday. Crochet is a fun activity with many benefits. It promotes the development of manual dexterity, patience, problem-solving, maths, comprehension and social interaction.

During the party, children will use a variety of crochet hooks and quality natural yarns, cotton and wool. We allow children flexibility to explore their creativity. They get to choose the yarn colour and thickness and the type of crochet hook they prefer.

Don't worry if the children are new to crochet - Fun With Crochet Birthday Party is designed to be fun and engaging for all skill levels. If some participants find that crochet is not their thing, we have backup activities such as knitting or hand sewing so they still get to enjoy the party fun. The session is 3 hours long with breaks for snacks and celebrations.

We offer three different Birthday Party Plans to suit your preference and each participant receives a crochet gift to take home.
